I called Travis with a broken spring on an old garage door in a very old house. I had an appointment within 2 days, as well as an accurate and reasonable quote for the work. Travis and John arrived on time, communicated well and were very pleasant and patient answering my questions. Travis was able to efficiently fix the main extension spring problem with the confidence of years of experience working in the business. (He knew how to fix it - not sell me a new one!) He also quickly diagnosed an additional garage door opener problem and fixed that on the spot. He threw in a part for free and offered to tune up the other garage door while he was there. We were completely satisfied with the service and would highly recommend True Garage Door without reservation. ~ Alice C

I highly recommend True Garage Door. I called for my mom who had a broken spring on her garage door. I spoke to Travis who from start to finish was professional and courteous. He was able to stop by that same day, assess what needed to be done, gave a reasonable estimate and fixed the spring in a timely fashion. His attention to detail and absolutely phenomenal customer service left us both in awe. He even fixed the light on the garage door and tightened a loose handle on a door leading into the garage from the house. I have so many good things to say about Travis and TRUE GARAGE DOORS that I’m afraid people might not think this is a real review but I can assure you it is! Travis had the fairest price of anyone I called and the job was done with exceptional quality and care. He went above and beyond when he found that the door frame needed a good amount of structural work in order to make a proper installation; unfazed, Travis made a quick trip to Home Depot to pick up various lumber and to my surprise didn’t charge a penny over the quoted price. To top it off, Travis has some great stories to tell about his life, just a great guy overall. In conclusion, I cannot over-praise True garage doors and Travis and will happily recommend his work. ~ Greg D

I chose True Garage Doors after getting quotes from five different companies. Travis was the only one who took the time to thoroughly explain the product, carefully measure, and walk me through the available options. He even returned with samples of glass and materials, which made the decision process easy and informed. In my experience, the true measure of a company isn’t the sales process...it’s the installation and post-installation support. This is where Travis really stood out. When there was an issue with one of the openers, he responded immediately and even came back on the weekend to make sure it was addressed. When the problem turned out to be a defective unit, he promptly replaced it. Travis was easy to work with from start to finish, the end product looks fantastic, and the quality of work is excellent. My 25 year old 16 foot wide garage door was sagging in the middle and was stuck in the tracks. I called 3 companies I found on line - all three calls went to voicemail. I next called True Garage and Travis answered the call - a Saturday afternoon. He promised he would come to my home on Sunday in Providence and assess the situation - which he did. Travis is very knowledgeable about the mechanics of a garage door. He spotted the problems (broken main spring, sagging lower section, etc) immediately. I asked him for a quote for a new door and he provided that. In a few days I had a new door installed along with 2 new remotes. Travis is a detailed Professional - he inspects every step in the installation process and cleans up everything left from the old door. Travis arrived to fix a very nosey garage door. Found him to be very polite and knowledgeable. I went with what he recommended, changing the springs and a few other things and my garage door is so much quieter. He went above and beyond by greasing both doors and educating me on how often and how this should be done. With any kind of work these days you expect to pay high prices but happy to say that the price was very reasonable. I am a satisfied customer and will recommend him to family and friends. We needed to have a broken spring fixed on the garage door so I researched and selected True Garage Door based on all the great reviews. All the great reviews are spot on! After I left a message, Travis called back within minutes. He was able to come over the next day. Not only did he replace the springs, he noticed how loud the door closed and replaced two pulleys (bearings were shot). After needed lubrication, we were amazed at how quiet the door is now. He made sure everything was working correctly and all within his quoted and very fair quoted cost. We also needed to replace an old noisy, garage door opener in another condo. He recommended a good brand and model that was in our price range and replaced it after we bought the unit. He even found the old one was not secured to any studs and corrected it. Travis does awesome work, pays attention to detail, cleans up after and explains everything. An all around great guy and I highly recommend him for any of your garage door needs. ~ Ed P

Travis responded immediately to my call, stopped by the next day and completed the repair. In addition to replacing the operator bracket he fixed the tension on the springs, lubricated all of the moving parts (and showed me what to do and how often) and he adjusted the opener. All at a very reasonable price. (I texted a picture of the problem and he was ready when he got here.) Travis does all of the work so you know you're getting a pro every time. My old wood garage door had seen better days. Researched the usual garage door companies but I always look at the reviews from customers. Thus I went with True Door. So glad I did. Travis knew all the options and explained everything i could improve and what wouldn't work. I cannot recommend Travis and his company, more highly. He answered the phone immediately , made an appointment for the next day and was even early to the appointment. He assessed the issues with our garage door and gave us several options- none requiring an expensive replacement. He completed the job in less than the time he anticipated and spent additional time explaining and assisting us with the new technology. I could not speak more highly of Travis and True Garage Door. Honest and transparent, incredibly responsive and knowledgeable, and provides multiple different options and suggestions if you ask about them. Originally he helped replace a failed motor on one of our bays, and went above and beyond on an assessment for anything else that was in need of replacement on both bays (were many years old). Anything he pointed out made complete sense and he showed/explained why he was saying it. Just as importantly he also called out what was totally fine and had no reason to replace. No tricks into paying for anything extra, just honest assessment and great work. Fast forward to a recent issue where we needed to replace a bottom panel on the door that was damaged. Came by the same day late afternoon to assess, bought everything, and did the work the very next day. Less than a 24 hour turnaround from when I picked up the phone! I had Travis help me with a garage door service few months back. He fixed the issue and charged very nominally. Today my garage door opener was broken. I called Travis for replacement. He gave a good quote for the liftmaster and also fixed my wobbly door, replacing the pulleys and also adjusted my door which was not leveled. He did an excellent job programming all the keys and added in an outdoor keypad as well. You can trust true garage door easily for good quality workmanship and right price. Highly recommend! Travis Rogers came the day after I called (exactly on time) and fixed my two garage openers. He had the parts in the truck and not only repaired the openers, but installed new wall controls, lubricated and adjusted the settings so they closed perfectly, and programmed my replacement remotes. One of my springs on my left most door snapped this am. I texted Travis around 230pm as a first time customer. He was at my house within a half hour and he worked on both doors at amazingly reasonable price! I’ll be contacting him to install an automatic door opener within the next couple of weeks. Travis was above and beyond. I had an old, wooden garage door that I was planning on replacing, and the warp on it became bad enough that I couldn't get the garage door open. He had dropped by between jobs the day I called him for a consult, and I scheduled for the next week. He beat the lead times from the other people I had talked to by a week, and their prices by ~$200 I found out my car was stuck on a Saturday morning, the door had warped enough that it bent the frame and wouldn't roll up because it was catching on the brace on one side. I called him back to say that if he could come any earlier, I was stuck and it would be helpful. He said he could manage a day sooner, he was waiting on a supplier but he could shift an appointment for me. He also offered to swing by that evening after his last install and help me get my car out of the garage, I didn't even ask. He was there when he said he would be, he installed the door quickly and efficiently, and hauled away the old junk door. I can't recommend him enough.
